Sorry to add to the frustration. Obviously not intending to.
Truth is, I still don’t know what I think about this. I read an interesting post by Dusan Writer on his theory about how this is all part of a larger content theft/IP thing, and it made some sense. He brought up a few points I hadn’t thought of but made sense with regarding to what the upcoming mesh import situation will do with regard to IP as people import stuff into SL.
Anyway. Hang in there. Be happy. I don’t know how this will work out, but don’t let the frustration get too much. People will figure creative ways to promote their stuff. I’m unfortunately not capable of creativity, which explains both why I’ve never managed to create something people want OR how to market it.
