Okay, so the next clue has been released to the world about what Phil Rosedale is up to, and by the looks of www.lovemachineinc.com, nobody still has a clue except that he wanted a steak burrito, plans on hanging out in bars, doesn’t have a business plan yet, and wants to change the world while demolishing the ego.
I’m going to take a wild guess that he’s working on a Love Machine concept for startups and developing companies, but based on the lack of content on the website or a portfolio of clients, would you trust your company to this guy?

I’m changing the name of these rants to “All Wound Up.”
And sure enough, I play it loosey-goosey with image sharing and hosting as I go through all my old Flickr posts and tag them for people.
It’s a great way to socnet through image-sharing, as opposed to the pathetic texture-snapshot handling inside of Second Life. (Plus, if you have just 200 images, it’s free at Flickr.)

Colossus Linden said at SLCC that he’d gather up concerns and questions about live music in SL to take back to his masters on Battery Street.
Nobody I know has heard any follow-up from the guy. The only thing most of us came away with from that panel was a sense of despair, abandonment, and really bad sinus infections.
From “killer ap” to killing the ap, the circle is complete.
(And the usual off-topic insane rambling at the bottom of a well)
Unlike Radar, I don’t care if you listen or not, I don’t bother worrying about feedback, and I’m actually thrilled if you rifle through my underwear drawer when I’m away.

If anybody is going to present a strong case for a Community Partnership to Linden Lab, it’s going to be Fleep Tuque and the Chilbo group.
Fleep runs a tight ship with a great group of people in the right balance of firm and fair.
Their open discussions will prove a model for the right way to present a community for consideration, and if the Lab says no, well, then I hope they have really good mental health plans there on Battery Street.

Okay, so I had a Craig Crocker moment looking at the Third Party Viewer blog post.
Everybody’s having their love-fest with Emerald, and Prokofy is knocking down the freetards and opensourcer freebiests like Bruce Lee taking on an army of ninja.
So what do folks do? They get rude with Prokofy and try to bait a reaction.
Um… folks… look in the mirror when you accuse Prokofy, eh.
(In this case, Prokofy’s being the civil one.)
